The business group FORMAT-LAMBDA offers a wide spectrum of services: Beginning with detailed orders all the way to the most complex construction projects such as concrete formwork with geodetic staff, reinforced steel assembly (steel fixing) and concrete. We also provide qualified and experienced crane operators.

In every construction project reinforced steel assembly plays an important role.

Our company is AFCAB quality certified in reinforcement assembly. FORMAT-LAMBDA provides both internal and external quality control. Beginning with identification of construction plans and delivery of steel reinforcement, where all attests on steel type, malleability (workability), diameter and length of the steel bars are carefully checked, to the assembly of the steel itself which is constantly under the strict control of our professionals. Steel is assembled in utmost precision according to construction plans. Every construction phase undergoes a two point quality control prior to concreting. Steel assembly itself contains:

1 Assembly in traditional steel fixing method using tie wire or welding.
1 Assembly can be completed on site or in a prefabrication area.
1 All welding is completed by our qualified and certified welders meeting all requirements.

In today’s construction industry we also use a combination of welding and soldering.

For the articulation of steel in contact or crossing points, we use high quality bonding wire (diameter up to 1.6 mm) and corresponding high quality nippers. Depending on your needs, we use the simple cross, double cross-knot and double row knot methods. The assembly of Rebar belongs only in the hands of qualified professionals.


Concreting exercised at construction sites is called 'wet' processes. This requires the application of appropriate formwork systems, as well as steel fixing teams on site. FORMAT LAMBDA uses technologies, depending on the needs and specifications of the construction site. In addition, we develop our technologies steadily to shorten production cycles. For a better and faster production cycle we also offer our qualified and experienced crane operators.

Our formwork solutions are versatile:

1 Formwork for single use – Usually made of wood and used in the structuring of non-repetitive steel structures. They are basically for complicated objects, such as bridges, dams or foundations, as well as other unusual structures
1 Formwork for multiple uses – Used in repetitive structures and made up of several elements held together with special components. (e.g. Peri or Doka formwork)
1 Adjustable Formwork – Using skeleton frame and plate structures. Additional applications include ribs and mushroom slabs.
1 Sliding formwork – Find their applications for the construction of tunnels, canals and open depots in the appropriate shape.
1 Slipform Shuttering – Used in box foundations, pools, water tanks, storage buildings and walls in high rise buildings.		 1

1After installation of the formwork and the onset of reinforcement, the process is completed with concrete that we carry out in the following stages:

1 Filling of concrete mixtures in pumps or conveyor belts crane buckets.
1 Compaction by vibration
1 Monitoring of concrete maturation and care (through wetting, obstruction and of course, cosmetic improvements)

Concrete quality and endurance depends on the quality of work and the professionalism of staff.
