FORMAT Urządzenia i Montaże Przemysłowe Sp. z o.o. was and is truly a pioneer enterprise and one of the first Polish private companies to embark into free market trade during Poland’s era of transformation during the late 80’s and 90’s.
     
Inspired by the revolutionary adoption of new business laws implemented on the 23 of December 1988 during the rule of Mieczysław Rakowski’s government and the signing of the German-Polish labor agreement concerning the sending of Polish laborers to Germany on 31.01.1990 Mr. Wojciech Mikulecki founded the company in February 1990.

FORMAT specialized in the beginning on the following sectors:

Interior building construction (Drywall and suspended ceiling systems)
Building facade assembly
Thermal insulation (Cold and Heat protection), Soundproofing and Fire protection
Rust and corrosion protection

Already after the first year we were able to expand into the “Reinforcement and concrete formwork” sector.
After only 3 years of successful business and with the vision in mind to improve our service development and effectiveness, Format formed the company group FORMAT-LAMBDA, consisting of:

Till today the FORMAT-LAMBDA company group has remained a pioneer within the industrial construction industry. We expanded our construction business to Italy and France before Poland became a member of the European Union. Once Poland became a member state we have expanded our business in France, Ireland, The United Kingdom and Finland.
      
Thanks to our many years of experience in the construction industry and our versatility we have been able to offer our clients fast and high quality services guaranteeing success with our well organized and functional logistic system in all European countries. Our workforce is selected and placed using our strict criteria and according to the special needs of each project and client enabling the best and quickest technical solutions.
      
Our human resources department consists of a highly qualified team with experienced workers and also young ambitious employees who are willing to learn and develop their skills. Our human resources are selected using our strict criteria and the norms of our company group taking into consideration all laws and regulations of the European Union.
      
Our quality management is in constant expansion and modernization. Priority is set however in Health and Safety in the workplace. We expect a high sense of Health and Safety not only from our workforce but also from our partners and in all construction projects realized.
